Give your invoice a unique number, identify your business and client, describe each item, and set the currency and due date you agreed. Add the payment instructions your client should use.
You can include a discount, different tax rates for individual items, and an amount already paid. Changing the currency changes the denomination and rounding—it does not convert your prices.

Is this invoice generator free and public?
Yes. Create and export an invoice without an Ostro account. The tool runs in your browser and does not send invoices, client details or logos to an invoice service.
Will my invoice still be here after a refresh?
No. There is no autosave, browser storage or invoice history. Refreshing or leaving the page clears the invoice. Export your PDF before you leave. The PDF you save is your own copy.
How do I download the invoice as a PDF?
Select Export PDF, then choose Save as PDF in your browser’s print dialog. Use the same A4 or Letter paper size selected in the editor, and switch off browser headers and footers. On mobile, PDF saving may appear under the print or share options.
Can I use different currencies and tax rates?
Choose an invoice currency from the current ISO currency list and enter the agreed prices in that currency. Add the applicable tax percentage to each line, or use zero. The tool performs arithmetic; it does not determine which tax rules apply to your business or client.
How are discounts, tax and rounding calculated?
Each line’s quantity × unit price rounds to the currency’s decimal precision. The percentage discount is rounded and deducted from each line, then that line’s tax is calculated and rounded. The invoice total adds the discounted lines and their tax; any amount already paid reduces the balance due.
Does creating an invoice send it or collect payment?
No. Export the document and send it using your own communication channel. Enter your actual receiving instructions in the payment section. The generator does not issue receiving accounts, send email or process payments.
