THE COUNT STARTS AFTER DAY ZERO

What does
Net 30 mean?

In this calculator, Net 30 adds 30 days after the chosen start date. For example, 1 January plus 30 calendar days is 31 January. The start date is day zero.

Calendar days include weekends. Business days here mean Monday to Friday, excluding any holiday dates you enter. Selecting a weekend adjustment changes only a due date that falls on a weekend or a listed holiday.

For end-of-month terms, select the month-end option: the tool moves to the last day of the start-date month, then adds the agreed number of days. For example, 10 January with end-of-month plus 30 calendar days gives 2 March in a non-leap year.

Your agreed contract determines which convention applies. This calculation does not predict when a bank transfer will settle.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few useful answers.

Does the calculator include the invoice date in Net 30?

No. The selected start date is day zero; the next eligible day is day one. Choose the issue or receipt date that your agreed terms use.

Are public holidays excluded automatically?

No. You can enter the holidays or closure dates relevant to your agreement. The tool excludes those dates when counting business days and when applying a next- or previous-business-day adjustment.

Does the due date always move if it falls on a weekend?

Only if you choose an adjustment. The default keeps the calculated date. Moving to the previous business day can produce a date earlier than the start date when the payment is due immediately on a non-business day.

What does the calendar download contain?

It is an all-day calendar event for the calculated due date, with a description of the chosen terms. Import it into your calendar application. It does not send invitations, create a payment or automatically enable a reminder.

Can I calculate days overdue?

Yes. After calculating the deadline, choose a comparison date. The result shows how many calendar days remain, whether payment is due that day, or how many calendar days have elapsed since the deadline.
