A LITTLE CONTEXT GOES A LONG WAY

How to use this
tool.

01

Build a consistent snapshot

Enter invoices in a single currency, with the original total and cumulative payments and credits recorded by the report date. You can import the sample CSV structure and edit the rows before calculating. Each client and invoice-reference combination must be unique. Prepare a separate report for each currency.

02

Age the remaining balance from its due date

Balance = invoice total − payments − credits. Days overdue = report date − due date, floored at zero. Due today and future due dates remain current. An unpaid invoice becomes 1 day overdue the day after its due date, moves into 31–60 at day 31, into 61–90 at day 61 and into 90+ at day 91.

03

Use the report to choose the next action

Focus on positive overdue balances and check disputed invoices, missing documents and unmatched payments before contacting the client. Zero balances are settled. Negative balances are shown separately as overapplied amounts for review; they are not silently offset against other invoices. The report does not estimate bad debt or calculate late fees.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few useful answers.

Can I import invoices from a spreadsheet?

Yes. Export a UTF-8 CSV using the provided sample headers. Use YYYY-MM-DD dates, plain decimal amounts without currency symbols or thousands separators, and an ISO currency code on each row. The limit is 200 invoices and 256 KB. The file is processed in your browser.

Can I reconstruct an earlier month-end report?

Only if you enter totals, payments and credits as they stood on that date. This tool has no payment-event history and cannot undo later payments for you.

Does an overdue bucket mean an invoice cannot be collected?

No. It shows time past the entered due date. Payment disputes, collection likelihood, accounting provisions and write-offs require separate review.

Are my entries saved?

No. These tools work in this open page. Nothing is uploaded or stored, and refreshing clears your entries. Export the results you need before leaving.
