A LITTLE CONTEXT GOES A LONG WAY
A useful proposal starts with the client’s goal and the result you intend to deliver. Keep the summary specific to that project. List measurable objectives rather than promises that depend on factors outside your control.
Describe each deliverable, its format, quantity and acceptance criteria. Add exclusions, dependencies and client responsibilities so both sides understand what the fee covers. A website project, for example, might specify the number of pages, who supplies content and how many review rounds are included.
Add milestone dates, the total fee and payment schedule. Explain how changes are requested and priced, and what counts as acceptance. The export is a proposal document; it does not send an electronic signature request or determine whether your terms form an enforceable contract. Review terms for your project before sending.
